Through my involvement in the VTCEE Board, I enjoy learning about what is going on with the current and future research in the CEE department and the College of Engineering. I like learning what changes are being considered at the department, college and university level in terms of the curriculum and labs. I also like being able to discuss how those changes may affect the needs of the private and public sector engineering profession. Seeing and hearing about what projects the students are involved in as a part of their classes is extremely important.
