Modern cement production. Composition and hydration mechanisms of concrete and other cementitious composites. Micro- and nanostructural development of fresh and hardened concrete. Effects of chemical admixtures, mineral fillers, and supplementary cementitious materials. Application of advanced characterization techniques to cement and concrete microstructure.
