CEE 5154 : AIR POLLUTION TRANSPORT AND CHEMISTRY
Course Description :

Principles and practice of air pollution source control with emphasis on stationary source control and equipment operating and design parameters; economic and technical evaluation of control system design alternatives.

At the conclusion of this course students will be able to:

  • Describe the effects of air pollution.
  • Describe sources of air pollution and estimate their emissions.
  • Describe the meteorological factors that affect air quality.
  • Develop and apply models to predict air pollutant concentrations.
  • Evaluate the fate of pollutants in indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Specify emissions control equipment for air pollution sources.
