Specific Course Objectives :
Describe the characteristics of flow and sediment in rivers.
Identify bed form types and determine stage-discharge relations.
Determine critical flow conditions for bed load and suspended load transport within a stream.
Calculate bed, suspended and total load transport rates in rivers
Identify the impact of certain human activities on streams and evaluate stream restoration practices.
