CEE 5364 : WATER LAW
Course Description :

Analysis of law for allocation of surface and groundwater supplies, legal controls over water quality alteration, public rights of water use, and drainage law.

Specific Course Objectives :
  • Describe, compare, and analyze critically the alternative approaches to water allocation currently applied in the United States.
  • Locate and interpret state statutes and common law applicable to water allocation.
  • Describe and analyze critically the current strategies and programs for protecting water quality and natural water environments.
  • Locate and interpret state and federal statutes for protecting water quality and natural water environments.
